Boys Varsity Football · Wounded Falcons Fight Grandview, but Fall 7-34

The Falcons headed into district quarterfinals with a roster of injured players, but still managed to fight Grandview evenly for three quarters, before falling 7-34.  The Falcons’ ground and pound offense generated 157 total yards on the night, all of them rushing.  The Falcon defense remained stout until the fourth quarter, using three interceptions to keep the Bulldogs chained up outside the endzone.  The Falcons finish the year 4-6, a significant improvement over last year’s 1-9 record.  Great job by Coach Harris, his staff, and players.
